Interview with Evert Rietdijk, Country Manager SEGULA Technologies Netherlands

My name is Evert Rietdijk and started recently as MD for SEGULA Technologies in The Netherlands.

I have a background in mechanical engineering and worked predominantly in sales, marketing, product development and manufacturing. In my last job I was Unit manager in an engineering company in Eindhoven. The same place as where SEGULA Technologies is now located. All these experiences together made it possible to take up the challenge to establish SEGULA Technologies Netherlands.
 

My ambition is to make SEGULA Technologies Netherlands a top 3 player in engineering. Clients choose us for our quality and proximity. Employees want to work here because of the challenges and possibility to develop themselves.
In my role as MD I want to build the best team that supports each other in achieving the goals of the company and our customers. We are aware of our own strengths and weaknesses. Everybody has his role in contributing to the final result, from fresh graduate up to senior engineer. And every contribution is valuable and appreciated.
 

Growing as quick as we do make you vulnerable. We need to stick to our vision, but be aware of the world around us. We need to adapt ourselves to the changing environment, but not act only in an opportunistic way. This is what I see as my biggest challenge, to guide this process.
